Steve is a principal of the firm. For over 40 years, Steve has successfully represented a wide array of of individuals, families and businesses in all types of legal matters. He strives to provide each client with legal services that are personable, efficient and effective.

Steve served as counsel for the Department of Labor and as Assistant Attorney General for the State of Vermont. He has extensive trial, and appellate court experience as counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in all Vermont State and Federal Courts. He represents both creditors and debtors in the Vermont Bankruptcy Court. He has represented local, national and international clients in complex commercial litigation. His litigation experience includes claims in the areas of contracts, personal injury, construction, commercial and residential eviction, real estate disputes and insurance coverage litigation. He also maintains an extensive practice representing homeowner associations and mobile home parks. He has a special expertise in unemployment compensation law.

In addition to the practice of law, Steve is an avid telemark skier, gardener, sailor and fisherman.
