Steven E. Schindler, Esq.
Steve is an attorney and certified public accountant. He is a tax and estate planning attorney with the Schindler Law Office, PLC, in Rutland, Vermont. Steve is Of Counsel with Doremus Kantor & Zullo. He advises businesses, individuals and nonprofits about the various federal, state, local and international tax laws, helps individuals and families prepare and administer their estate plans, represents owners of closely held businesses in commercial transactions, and represents tax payers in collection actions brought by the Internal Revenue Service and Vermont Department of Taxes. Steve acts as Trustee for several captive insurance master trusts and administers health care plans for association members.
From 2011 to 2013, Steve taught Business, Individual and Trust Taxation, and Advanced Accounting, within Castleton University's Masters in Accountancy Program.
Steve graduated, magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School in 1993. After law school, Steve clerked for two District Court judges in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.
